  1. Is there any buttons on the centre console that can Control OBC aswell`? Thought it only was the stick.. Will be with the car tomorrow will have a look :) thanks
  2. Hi everyone!, i have bought a 997 C2 S, -05 Just realised that crusie Control isnt working (not even turns on the green indicator light when pushed to Active it..,but lamp lights up when starting the car, so its working in the cluster) Seems like the Cruise stick isnt working.. and the on board computer doesnt work either.. doesnt ract to the level stick.. I have checked the fuses at driver feet wall,, but they seem good.. brake light is working... Is there any more fuses or relays that could be involved? All constructive speculations is welcome :) //thanks Simon
  3. My old cab had some ugly scratches marks, and my plastic window cracked when i was about to downcab (it was 13 celsius outside at the time) Simon

  7. The car has cabrioworlds softtop sonnendeck with glas. Im really happy with the results! Its also lowered with eibach progressive 2,5cm springs. Simon
  8. yes im gonne try it out, A locked trigg box cannot be unlocked (just found out). Things you have to program before you lock a new trigg unit is: the amount of airbags and carmodel. The used box i got is already programmed for a similar vehicle... So my hopes is high :) Post the results when im done. Thanks
  9. But the used trigg unit i got is already locked for a similar vehicle.. so shouldnt it work?, what do you think about it Loren? Thanks
  10. The triggering unit is placed in the lower dashboard, triggering unit also is the one who saves all codes. The dealer who i used aint that experienced with Porsches, but they do got the testing equipment. I just found out that if the fault code is named 100 or above then is it a faulty triggering unit (internal fault), gonna call the dealer and see if they have saved the fault codes somewhere... most likely they have not! and a trip to them is about a 2 hours drive :cursing: i have bought a used triggering unit, thinking of testing it in the car.. it shares the same number as my car but come from another vehicle. My car is a Boxster S -00, and the donators is a 2,7 -99 but has 4 airbags aswell. if i buy a new trigg unit they have to bound it to the car choosing the amount of airbags, and then locking it. But the one i bought is already locked amnd with the same amount of airbags like i said. What do you think is it a stupid and dangerous move to make? i think it should work! Dont wanna ask my dealer, i dont thrust their knowledge Thanks Simon Scandinavia
  11. thanks for the reply im talking about the airbag triggering unit. sry if i was unclear *They werent investigating it, they just had a quick look with the computer.. They werent even able to erase the code! If it was a fault elsewhere, the codes should be ereasable and then come back! But it was like the unit was locked.... Simon
  12. The car is a Boxster S -00, yes the dealer sad that the codes couldnt be ereased, and the airbag unit was probably the cause.. Simon
  13. Sorry, posted tjis under 987 (i wish) but belongs under 986 plz.. admin can you move it plz
  14. My airbag light started to shine for some months ago.. when my driving chair was removed! When i went to the dealer,, they couldnt erease the fault code.... seems like my airbag unit has gone bad... can i use a used airbag box from another car if the number is the same?? or are they bound to the car? Simon
  15. Thanks guys Seems like thats the problems then.. My dealer tried to program the Euro key without results Next step would be to order 315mhz keys, only hope my dealer can program those... Simon
  16. Cant get my new keys to work on my car (the remote function) i have no problem with the immobilizer. I have a boxster S -00 US spec but Euro spec keys.. Has the US boxster S alarm as standard? if so wich version? My Euro remote say 433MHZ on the hand held transmitter, You guys that have a boxster S what does your remote say? Regards/ Simon (Sweden)
  17. I have just installed a set of litronics As the other says, it has no self leveling But you mean when you highbeam, both sides dont move to the same hight? Mine does! you need maybe to open it and have a look (mine was unplugged on both sides of the lamp, after pulling it back on both sides it worked) And the lights are syncronised Simon
  18. 2,8 liters/ 3 quarters approx, will fill the 6speed manual gearbox to the right amount was in the manual didnt find it at first. Rich how did you check the 11 milimeter gap? Simon

  20. Hello My name is Simon and im from Sweden Wounder if the Boxster S block is the same as 996 If thats the case, shouldnt it be possible to take the crankshaft, rods, pistons from a 3,4/3,6 and instal it in to the 3,2?? Some one also know if its more simple to swap in a 3,4 in a S then it is in a 2,5/2,7 car? Thx
