  1. I have had the car back for two weeks now and, cross your fingers, no CEL. They replaced the leak detection pump and carbon canister.
  2. The car, 09C4S, went into the shop last Wednesday. This time they tell me they ran another "smoke test" and found that the "leak detection pump" was actually the culprit. They replaced it and have been driving it around town to see if the problem recurs. So far it hasn't and they say they will return the car to me tomorrow. I will be happy to have Carlotta back. The Cayenne loaner is fine but not the same - to put it mildly. If this fix doesn't work I will escalate.
  3. Not fixed yet. It has been to the dealer three times now. Each time it operates fine for a few days after they work on it and then the light recurs. The light just recurred last night. Service mangager is scratching his head and in contact with Porsche. Car will go in for the FOURTH time next week.
  4. Thanks. It is now five days and fifty miles later with 10 or so starts. I still have the solid ECU light. Am I being impatient or is time to get this checked?
  5. On Sunday I had a CEL when starting. I checked the fuel filler cap and it was indeed loose. On Monday I called my local dealer. The service guy said that once sufficient pressure was reestablished the CEL would automatically turn off. Well now it is Wednesday and I have driven 25 miles since the CEL. Will it turn off or do I have to get it reset? This is on an 09 C4S David
