  1. Thanks Loren...will check the clutch and btw it is the key which came with the car
  2. Repected Members! I've had the old key stuck in the ignition problem and followed the very useful guide here to replace the ignition - http://www.renntech....-with-pictures/ Unfortunately I have a problem, the car battery was dead so I charged the battery and this is working fine, however the car will not start! after connecting the new switch whenever I connect the battery the car seems like it's on? the lights on the dash light up and the a/c come on, this is before I put the key in the ignition switch. When I do put the key in the switch the car does not turn over? I'm sure this is a DIY novice issue (at least I hope so) so I'm looking for any advice as to what I may have done wrong? Could it be the ignition switch is not in the zero position? If so how do i resolve this, I put the key in and can engage the steering lock before removing the key so I assume this is the zero position. Please help...thanks in advance!
