  1. I can't seem to locate the part number for the Carbon Fiber Door Sill for a 2007 GT3RS, the one with the GT3RS logo. Can someone please help, thank you!
  2. If I go with the original GT3 Club Sport's flywheel and clutch, will I need to reprogram my cars computer at all? Or is it a simple install and drive thing? What about the new GT3RS? Jonathan
  3. Is there any particular clutch, fly wheel combo you recommend? Will the car's computer need to be reprogrammed?
  4. Hey, interesting idea... I need a new engine in my 2002 C4 Cab, RMS failure. Anyway, my mechanic told me, since the car races a full season of DEs and Autocrosses, that I single mass, lightweight racing clutch would definitely improve performance. I was wondering what everyone thinks of this. Has anyone tried one of these? What could the drawbacks be? I would have it installed when the engine is replaced prior to next racing season. Any thoughts??
  5. Loren, What about for a 2002 C4 Cab? I am thinking of upgrading to the New GT3 6 piston cailpers and steel rotors (not the ceramics). I know I will need carriers and the like, but, will I need to replace the master cylinder in a 2002? Also, will the Carrera 4 (not the 4S) require uprated carriers? Or was that only for the C2? Thanks
  6. X74 is wonderful. I think there are no issues with its use as an everyday suspension, however, it is not made for that. The car (after about a month of settling), dropped about 60 to 70mm, a lot. The lowest part of the car is now only about 2 to 2.5" above the ground, however, in 3 months of driving with the suspension, I have not bottomed out nor hit anything yet. As for performance, hahahaha, there is no comparison. It still isn't nice like a cup car, but, that would be too too much for the street. This is indeed the best compromise. The car is no longer a soft, mushy Cadillac, it is now what it is supposed to be: a race car. In terms of alignment, I am running -1° front and -2.5° back. A friend runs -2°front and -3° back and the car feels even better. Turnin is instant, the car is sticks and sticks and sticks. I love it!!!
  7. I have a 2002 C4 Cab running the X74 suspension kit and Pilot Sport Cup tires. I find a cold pressure of 28f/32r very good and balanced for the street. With the cup tires, you want to achieve about 34 to 36 hot. On the track, I have to start way down about 22/24 cold. Now, this was just to give you an idea, I don't know which tires you are running, let me know...
  8. Is your battery mounted inthe center line of the car now, or off to the side??
  9. Loren, I got it now!!! Woohoo!!! I understand exactly what you are saying, thanks. I checked all the local costcos and BJ's and all the other wholesale warehouse stores, no one carries this battery in my area. So now, the next challenge is finding the battery, haha.
  10. Kevin, Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it. One more question, where did you find the nice red battery cable. You had said you needed a longer one, where did you get it? Did it come with the battery?
  11. Loren, What do you mean the orange top has reversed connections for the wires? I looked at the article you sent me, it doesn't look like the wires cross with the red-top, so, if I used the orange top, then the wires would cross, right? I think he needed a longer cable because the plate he made didn't mount the battery in the centerline of the car, but offcenter, necessitating a longer passenger side lead. Am I correct with this?? This is very confusing...
  12. Kevin, if you alread installed one in your cab, which model did you put in??
  13. Loren, Specifically, which battery do I need for my car, I think there are quite a few, aren't there? Thanks...
  14. Thanks for the site, but, I was hopeing to find it a bit cheaper...
  15. I am looking into installing the Optima light weight battery. I was wondering what people think of this???? Where can I get it and what type do I need for a 2002 C4Cab? Thanks...
  16. Hey, Looking into buying the BMC airfilter for the little guy. I see that BMC is selling it for like $120. This seems a tad high to say the least. Does anyone know where I can get this cheaper?? Thanks guys... Also, what does everyone think of this filter?
  17. I am in the process of installing the 3rd radiator kit. I was wondering what coolant to water mixture I should use. Also, are you guys using distilled water, or plain ole` tap water, or something nice and a bit bubbly like Pelligrino? haha
  18. I love the pagids, definitely better then stock all around. I put on the pads this past winter, so have experiance with them in the cold (snow) and the 100 degree temps here a few days ago. THey are great. No fade at all, much better bite, and better, "crisper" feel. That is the only way I can describe the difference. In terms of noise, nothing to speak of. Every now and then, I get a little squeek, but I like it, its almost as if the car is saying hello, haha. Pagid blacks make a lot more noise, the orange are fine. If you'd like more info, just ask...
  19. Hey all!!! I'd like to start off by applauding Loren for the terrific new technical site!!! NICE!!! My first post: How often should I bleed the brake system? I am running stock calipers and rotors, but, ATE Super Blue Fluid and Pagid Orange Pads. I hit all the DE sessions (about 12 days per year) and all the AutoCrosses (about 10). The car is also a semi-everyday car, I put about 15,000 miles on a year. How often should I bleed the system? Can I do this at home without a lift? Loren, what are your thoughts? Great site!! :D :D   :clapping: , hahaha, cool!!
