It is hard for me to describe the noise the car is making I bought it with 81,000 miles on it and now it has 90,000 miles on it and it has always made the sounds. Don't 911's have a characteristic sound. I think groaning may not be the best way to describe the noise. I would describe it almost sounding like the car wants to take off, maybe be kind of a whining noise. Would you think this is normal? I am in the process of trying to sell the car and I don't want to sell it with problems.

My car is a 99 C2 with 88K the transmission was replaced about 7k ago before I purchased it. What advice can you give me.

Okay I am new to this forum, who is Loren? I would like to get this resolved before the car becomes totally inoperable

I am having problems with my gears in my car. Occasionally my car cannot find reverse, 1, 3 or 5th gears. If I move the shifter around a lot it will find the gears again. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this?
