  1. I had the clogged drains in my 997S, not fun! I don't want this to happen again. Does anyone have the procedures required to clean and check for blockage?
  2. I use the DRL in my 2005. They are on at full power all the time only at night I turn the light switch on so the dash lights up.
  3. My convertible got a clogged drain and water got under the seats. The car was taken apart and carpets removed and everything was dried out. Now the rear wing and the top don't operate and the rear lights stay on. The independent repair shop software says something is wrong with the rear control unit. I brought it to the Porsche dealer and they said the rear control unit needs to be replaced. I thought the alarm control module was under the seat not the rear control unit. I did some research and it pointed to alarm module under the seat. What is correct?
  4. I was stuck in traffic for 1.5 hours moving very slowly and the outside temp was only 65. I noticed the oil temp moving passed 200 to close to 250 the the coolant temp went up also. I pulled out of the traffic and found some space to move. I as drove the coolant temp went down. I shut off the car and waiting 10 minutes. The temps went down and the traffic eased up. My coolant level is within the proper range. What is wrong the coolant temp should not start to heat up like that?
  5. I just got a 2005 Carrera S convert. It has 20,000 miles. I now noticed that one headlight washer is up and one is down. They both work. I looked at other 911's and it seems that both washers are always up. Why would one be in the down? Thanks
