  1. To my surprise the air filter was clean even though i work in a cement plant with lots of fine dust which gets thrown up in front of the air intake. Regarding the oil contamination and MAF problems, i know and agree. Here is a link to something i wrote up a while back regarding cleaning MAF in case anyone is interested, it was for a VW Golf but can be applied to any vehicle http://00626e1.netso..._flow_meter.htm Out of curiosity, does the 2011 Cayenne have an option for an air-intake extension as on the Cayenne transsyberia? like on image below? or is that extension for exhaust??
  2. Thank you for that. Do you know the best method of cleaning the filters themselves? would it be using water, highpressure air or a combination? also is there a spray to use on the filters once you fit them back on or anything like that?
  3. Ops sorry, I can see how that would help. Cayenne S 2011 (is that enough)
  4. Does anyone know how to remove the air filter for cleaning? also what is the correct cleaning procedure?
  5. Hi guys, I use to have a CayenneS 9PA1 (2008) but have part exchanged it for a Cayenne S 92A (2011) Is there anything i should consider when driving it for the first few miles/km ? things like not going over a certain speed or RPM for X amount of miles/km? I know most engines these days do not require anything like this but any comments would help even if to say no need. Thanx in advance
  6. I am swapping the TPMS from one car to another but misplaced the manuals. Anyone have the fitting instructions for the sensors?
  7. Hi mate, small world huh? good to see you on this forum. I still got the trusty VW in the UK but I moved to Yemen around two years back and got a Cayenne S 08 at the moment. Hope to see you around ;)
  8. I just please an order for one from the followin link: US Auto Parts but its description says its application is for Lexus IS350... did i order the correct one? Just found the correct one: TPMS for Cayenne
  9. I just please an order for one from the followin link: US Auto Parts but its description says its application is for Lexus IS350... did i order the correct one?
  10. So all 2007 Cayennes and up are 9PA1? ok got it. Next questions...where does the "9PA1" bit come from? is it the chassis number? (I'm travelling otherwise i would have checked my car)
  11. I agree, the last thing you wanna do is mess up the car electrically
  12. Sorry guys but I'm new here and am wondering on the difference between 9PA, 9PA1 / Gen 1, Gen 2... Is it that 9PA is equal to Gen 1 which = Cayenne up till 2007 and 9PA1 is equal to Gen 2 which = Cayenne starting from 2008 ?
  13. I'm getting confused... how much different material is out there for the cayenne? from what I can figure out we have: 1)The complete workshop manual would be 10 sections plus wiring diagrams and then additional manuals such as Diagnostics, OBDII... (PM certain members for this) 2) The Porsche parts CD Where can I get the second one from? is it useful? and are there any other things I should keep a heads-up for?
