  1. Good news, problem solved. Turned out that the plug gap was too big and i was getting spark blow out when the engine went under load, so I regapped them to .032" and it fixed the shuttering and engine cut problem. Runs like a champ again! Thanks Guys.
  2. connections are good and coils are not cracked, I thought the plugs may be pre gapped but my manual said to Gap at 1.6mm, is this too big? everywhere else online seems to say it should be .032" (.8mm), does anyone know the correct gap on a 2004 Cayenne turbo?
  3. Can someone please help me. I just replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs on my 2004 Cayenne Turbo and now it feels like the power surging between 4k-6k RPM when I go full throttle. Instead of accelerating smoothly it feels like the engine is cutting on and off, it only happens when I press the gas pedal all the way to accelerate. Could it be a faulty coil or something I did wrong when I replaced them. I gaped the new plugs at .060, it this correct? Any help would be very much appreciated.
  4. The coil is pretty solid even without the bolt and I have driven it for a test drive without a misfire, but I'm taking it in tomorrow for a specialist to tap the hole just to be on the safe side. thanks for all the great help guys!
  5. I have a 2004 Cayenne turbo and the bolt that holds one of my ignition coils in went in crooked when i was replacing it and now the first half of the threads in the hole are damaged and I can get the bolt to go in straight. Can anyone help. PLEASE!
