  1. With my 05 C2S there was no stabilizer in the tank which was 3/4 full. I did top off the tank before restarting, the car started and ran fine and the message has not returned. At the time I was suspicious that it was fuel related as well. The car was on a battery maintainer during storage.
  2. I too had a similar experience when starting my 05 C2S after 4 months in winter storage. Same message, no CEL and the car is running fine.
  3. I live in Canada and have found a pre owned 997C2S in the U.S. I am familiar with the export import process but would like to know if it's straightforward for a dealer to do a daytime running light conversion, imperial to metric etc. Is this something that is software driven via PIWIS or am I looking at hardware changes? TIA, Eric
  4. Thanks. Any ideas as to why? I've spoken to my dealership and they are at a loss as well. The rear seats in the coupe are really uncomfortable even for a 9 year old and the complaint is the missing lower back support. It's not a big deal but it has got we wondering?
  5. I have a 2005 C2S with full leather interior and have noticed something that has got me wondering. My rear seats are composed on two cushioned surfaces, one at shoulder height and the other one you sit on. There is a noticeable cavity in the lower back area, something my 12 year old complains about on long trips. ;-) Now the interesting point, I was at the dealership and had a look at the C2S Cab and it had a third cushioned surface in this lower back area. Am I seeing things or are the cars different and if so why? Has anyone else noticed this?
  6. What is the general consencus wrt dealer installed clear auto bra's like 3M Scotchcal or Invinca-Shield? Is this something a DIY can easily install? Are there any concerns related to the installation of this type of product related to warranty and longevity?
