I am looking for a tutorial for a DIY Tranny fluid change for a 2004 Cayenne S. Any help will be appreciated - Thanks.

I have a similar issue with my 04. It does not seem as severe as yours, but when it is cold it always goes in to D1 and shifts hard if you don't shift manually. Recently i have noticed a very slight grind fromD1 to D2, only when cold. I am trying to research a local shop that can do a fluid change and perhaps a trans service - afraid the dealer will screw me! I also have a differential whine when cold. I'm guessing its ready for fluid changes?

My 2004 S behaves similarly to your description occasionally. It almost reminds me of driving a car with a manual transmission and coasting at low rpm in one of the higher gears. I get a slight shudder and once I accelerate, its fine. I chalked it up to the German engineering interpretation of the automatic transmission? Good Luck.
