I have no personal experience with the 997.2 cold air kit but I have been very pleased with all the Fabspeed products I have bought in the past for my 996 cars.. The system looks sound and well designed. You would have to run this by your dealer to see if it would effect your warranty.
Personally I would put one on in a second if I had an 09...... I would call them to see if they would "guarantee that you will like it or your money back" I actually bought Cat bypass pipes for my 996 a couple years ago and hated what they did for my low end torque. Joe (at fabspeed) allowed me to return them for a full refund. I thought that was pretty cool.
Do some more research and get all the information you can. Hopefully someone here will give you some feedback....
Good Luck!
thanks for the reply. will continue research and post back on what I decided. I'm leaning heavily towards getting the fabspeed intake.. thanks again :)

I'm thinking of installing the Fabspeed 997.2 air intake kit on my 09 C2S. Anyone have any feedback, opinions, suggestions. Also, how would this affect my factory warranty. any help is appreciated.

I had the same issue with my 997.2 S. However, with additional miles and shifting from 2 to 1 do not have the problem anymore. However, I don't always switch from 2nd gear to 1st gear. So when I bring to complete stop, I move into neutral, make sure clutch is depressed all the way & 1st gear slips nicely in. hope this helps.

I have a Cobra detector. Large visual display and gives audible alerts,so I can focus on just driving. Sometimes a little sensistive in picking up false signals- but overall, I loe it.

Not sure about the full performance package (as it also includes a ECU upgrade). HP numbers are a little off as the 4s does come with 385HP stock. For now, I'm only looking to change the air intake which looks like it can be done by someone at home. Most of the fabspeed exhaust products are bolt on without any welding. Best to contact them though to make sure.
