  1. Any good recommendation on trustworthy indie service shop in o.c/L.A. area?
  2. Maybe some pictures of the items that were tampered for this group to comment, could yield leverage towards PCNA. JP Porsche went to the dealership where the car was @ and took pictures and looked at the parts themselves. The tech who was helping out @ the time told me that the people from porsche agreed that the parts been tampered with and would reimburse me for the $$ spent. After not hearing from the tech for awhile, i tried to contact him but his phone got disconnected and is no longer working @ the dealership. strange So I contacted 1800-Porsche myself and tried to put closure to this matter. They told me pretty much that they stand by their dealership 100%! but how about the customers? I asked access to the pictures but they said its private and cannot share the pictures they have on file.
  3. I guess anything is possible these days but what are the odds of all these happening? I spoke with one of the tech from another shop, and he told me its like me punching a steel and trying to make a dent. So is this a fairly common occurence among porsche cars?
  4. My car had 80,000 miles @ time. While I was driving back to cali, my car started to stiffen up and a generator light came on so I pulled over right away and called my tech @ Mckenna. He told me, he was pretty sure it's the belt so just take it to the nearest dealership since its such a minor problem, which happened to be Gaudin Porsche in Las Vegas. After that I called a tow company and had the truck tow it out to Gaudin Porsche. After I got the estimate which I didn't believe, I called the tow truck driver and asked him if he noticed any coolant on his truck. The driver told me there was no evidence of coolant on his truck nor did he notice anything when he was unloading the car. something started to smell fishy
  5. Im usually out in ca but sometimes out in vegas. This happened @ the vegas dealership Gaudin Porsche. So I had it towed to Mckenna out in ca. I also informed porsche about it but it seems like they're more interested in trying to cover up for Gaudin Porsche then helping me figure out the real issue. This is why I wanted to ask around and see if this is a common problem when serpentine belt breaks off.
  6. Which I did and had the car towed approx 300 miles. The tech there told me it looks like they tampered with my car once they figured out I was not gonna service my car there.
  7. My serpentine belt broke so took it into nearest porsche dealership to have it replaced. They advised me when the belt broke off it cause damage to steering pump, crankcase breather hoses, water pump, deflection roller. And it also caused water pump to start leaking coolant. :o I get the feeling im being upsold. When serpentine belt breaks off can it really cause this much damage? I would've thought the porsche engineers would've thought about all this  Would very much appreciate your feedback if you have any knowledge with this issue. thanks
