  1. OK. I ran the calibration on the top (using the Durametrics software) and it put the top down but then stopped. It apparently couldn't do anything else. The Top wouldn't go back up and finish the calibration. I then clicked "check" fault codes and then clicked "clear" fault codes. The message on both attempts was "unable to communicate to this module". I can only assume that some sort of fuse/module is malfunctioning. Any tips at this point???? Thanks for all the help.
  2. We're surrounded. That simplifies the problem. Now we can shot them in every direction.

  3. I'll check which version I have. I've only had it for a couple of months so hopefully it's the newest. Great info. Thank you.
  4. I'll look into it. Thanks for the help.
  5. Sorry, I don't know what it means to recalibrate the top. Can you elaborate please?
  6. Thanks for the help but I've tried that as well.
  7. I changed the hydraulic cylinder for the convertible top on the passenger side of my 996. Now the convertible top light on the dash wont go off. The top cycles perfectly and the fluid is at the correct level. I've used my durametric software and can't access the instrument panel due the the year of the car ( 1999 ). The top will go up and down just fine and once the cycle is complete the dash light will flash but not go off. The windows go down when I put the top down but do not go up when I close the top. The light worked fine before I changed the hydraulic cylinder so it must have something to do with that. I'm lost!
