  1. All of my keys went off and I didn't have the factory tags, in the end had to bite the bullet and go to the dealers. They charged me around £150 pounds per key and replaced the top key fob with brand new and put in the old blades
  2. i had somthing like this happen to me, turned out to be the long suspension arms that go from the coffin arm to the chassis behind the seat
  3. ouch, and expensive option too! ty for reply
  4. hi all, having problems with my key fobs on my 2000 s. around a year ago my fob stopped working, wouldnt disarm the alarm, open doors etc. the small red light on fob which usually quickly pulses red flashes was just flashing once then nothing else.i searched the forums and google etc. but couldnt find anyone with same problem. i tried changing the battery and re-soldering terminals but still no luck so i swapped out the key and used the spare thinking i would put it in shop when i had time but never got round to it! so inevertably yesterday my spare key started having same problem. i did drop my keys before hand which makes me think i may have dislodged somthing, any ideas???
  5. hi all, was recently searching around ebay looking for a hardtop for the winter when i came across a zeintop only 20 miles from me. iv wanted a one of these tops for years so put my bid in and hoped for the best. as always with ebay i got outbid in the last 3 seconds but ended up getting a second chance at it as other dude was from france and item was in the uk and collection only. anyways to cut long story short got it, painted it, fitted it and i think it looks great. only problem when i went to give it a wash water started getting in from the very top of the rear hatch on one side, and i just cant get it to sit flush. iv solved the leak by sticking a second seal to the hatch itself so it meets the one on the forward section of the top but that seems to have raised up the whole hatch section. im now thinking the hinges are no good as you can push the hatch down with a bit of force or push up from inside the cabin and raise the hatch a little(before i fitted second seal) just wondering wether anyone else has encountered this problem before i go sourcing new hinges.p.s. iv got the front section of the top sitting great with all the shut lines looking good and flowing well. anyways heres a pic, still think it looks good even tho its pissing me off !
  6. just keep the lock button on your keyfob pressed in for a few seconds and windows close automatically
  7. hey guys, recently got a cel on my 00 boxster s had it checked and code came up as maf. i reset it and it came back on a couple of weeks later, so took it out cleaned it(checked for air leaks in the system while i was there) and cel came back on a couple of weeks later so looks like im gona need a new maf. just wondering where is the cheapest place i could get one from?
  8. i did the dvd /sat nav install a few weeks back, changed door speakers and dash speakers also, did the whole project for under £250. i got one of the 2 din systems from ebay sent over from china and although i was a bit wary it turned out to be a bargain! £130 including delivery. the whole install took about a day, just do a little research on renntech first and its a surprisingly easy job. If you decide to tackle it, message me and ill send you some helpful links.
