I was in an accident on friday and was told both front fenders, lights, hood, as well as bumper on my 2002 porsche 996 GT2 would be covered and replaced under insurance. If I wanted a new fresher look to the front end is it possible to replace these parts with 2008 or newer look? That way I could have a newer looking porsche. While most of the damage is really cosmetic as i slid up under a pick up truck they still need to all be replaced. on another car in the past not a porsche I had a similar incident where it was actually cheaper to get the new parts than the older parts from the manufacturer because they were not producing the older parts still and wanted a premium so I opted to upgrade to the new look on that vehicle. Does anyone know if these newer parts would fit the car? any help would be appreciated I need to make a decision in next 2 days.
