  1. I have a 1988 Turbo S. I had a ATP Stage II chip and a cold intake installeed by a reputable repair shop last year. It ran very rough until it warmed up and then ran better. The mechanic who is not a Porsche expert worked on it for some time trying to fix a suspected vacuum leak that he thought was causing the problem. The problem did improve but I did not have time to drive it as I immediately put it in winter storage. I just pulled it out of storage 3/24/2011. Drove it home and it drove so rough it was bucking and stalled out several times on me before I barely got it home. Did not improve o
  2. I live in Endicott, NY 13760. And just had a performance chip and cold air intake installed on my 1988 944 Turbo S. The car runs extremely rough when cold, Once it is warmed up it seems to run great. When cold I have all I can do to keep the engine running until warm; as it wants to quit on me. I have been told that my engine computer must be remapped to ajust for the upgrades I made and this will solve my problem. My dilemma is I can not find any one within 200 miles of Endicott that is able to do this? Can you suggest someone near me; that can remap my engine computer; please!!
