  1. Update: I've ordered the bilstein's and hope that the possible sage on the rear that I see with my untrained eye will be supported by my new shocks. the orange stripped factory spring I confirmed is worldwide for my car.
  2. This is now getting better no ? I'm still trying to get a straight answer on what springs to use. Dealer said use factory (orange stripe) but I want to slightly lower the car. My mechanic said to use the yellow stripe that he has new for sale. He said they are for a euro RS but my year and that they would work.
  3. Called a few other dealers today - they suggested just using the stock springs with the orange stripe. Now they are checking to see if the euro spring is available and if it is also the same orange stripe. Will let you know - thanks again.
  4. Loren - this is incredibly helpful. Much appreciated. Sunset Imports does not sell springs for the C4 only stock. They have M030 for C2 and turbo. They suggest aftermarket. So I'm not sure where to go other than back to stock. Any thoughts?
  5. Thank you - this is good info. The M030's he has are new, so I just have to make sure they are for my car. Do you happen to know a good place to source them new?
  6. Thanks Loren! Are there more than one kind of M030? My mechanic has a set he wants to sell me? How much are they worth?
  7. This is my first post - thank you for your patience. 1990 C4 - I'm 100% street daily driving on the streets of Los Angeles. Any suggestions for a decent set of shocks or shocks and springs would be greatly appreciated. I've heard the Bilstein HD's are good but was also told to put M030 springs on. H&R also makes a coil over but that is a more expensive option. I don't want a harsh ride. Car has 120,000 miles on the original suspension.
