  2. after fixing my ignition problem ,thanx to this forum, i had to take drivers seat out, but when i put it back the back part of the seat is "floppy" the electric motor still seems to work but it aint moving the seat with it? any help would be appreciated.
  3. 1, when i put the key in it springs to the right as if to start by itself. 2,i cannot lock the car with the remote because it thinks the key is still in it. 3, the key is really tight now to put in. any help out there?
  4. its quite difficult to get one, could you tell me where the obd connector is on the boxster? just so i dont start puliing things to bits, cheers.
  5. sorry, i have the obdII software and a laptop, i thought it was then just a case of getting a cable from car to laptop?
  6. The handle on the outside of the car is connected to the door lock mechanism via a short rod which is anchored to the lock by a sliding ring, this may have broken or come loose. Get the door panel off and have a feel above the lock, put the rod back into the sleeve and slide the ring up over it. Sounds tricky, but it is simply and can be done just by feel Glyn thanks glyn.
  7. the problem is when i lift the door handle to open the door the window goes down (like it should) but the door won't open, there is no click, i then have to open my paasenger door and i can then open it from the inside! weird. Anybody out there with an idea to solve my problem?
  8. mine have went grey in colour so i want to get them off to clean, thanx.
  9. right at the front of the dash, below the bottom of the windscreen, anybody know how to rempve the trim at that bit?
  10. lights, alarms, cig lighters, codes you name it!
  11. 1. i have 2 spare yellow wires, where do they go to? 2. the instructions talk about illumination wires, the only wires i can see are the traction control switck wires? 3. i ain't got a clue!!
  12. tried, but still not working, anybody out there who i can contact with a few questions?
