  1. Hi - I need the part #s for CDC-3 Mounting Bracket and Wiring Harnerss for an 02 Turbo. Thx
  2. I bought the Durametic Software which is really nice. I am looking at the Ignitions Range 1 and Ignitions Range 2 results. Are these numbers 'counted' the same way on the Durametric as they are on the PST2? For example, I have 12 Range 2s Also, yesterday I accidently redlined it and the limiter kicked it. This event was recorded as both a Range 1 and a Range 2 at 980h. For sure I did not do a high RPM downshift. Why would that have happened?
  3. Many thanks ..... It's an 02 TT USA. I am getting the fault codes from my new Durametric (thanks for the tip, I should have bought sooner, it was $247 but well worth it). Probably a few code bugs b/c it is for sure a US model. In terms of the Keys, the real testing issue is that I only have one. I ordered a second so I will have them both programmed / reprogrammed next week and I will try to have them clear the alarm codes as well. Any idea what a control box costs? If its big money, safe to asume I can buy it from Sunset, install it, and then take it to the dealer to have it programmed? Finally, I do want to get rid of the chirp. where is the sensor for the passenger compartment? Regards, Mark
  4. Loren -- 1) Control Box. Found it. No moisture, wires seem to be in good shape. H/ever, I am assuming I need to take the seat out if the problem isnt somewhere else .... 2) Fault Codes. If I isolate them it looks like: 33/34: The pasenger compartment sensor is faulty. As I understand it, this is probably causing the chirp BUT it is not the reason the remote wont work 42: Not sure about this one but I am assuming that this would be b/c my remote key wont electronically unlook the doors. Also, the car starts. 54: No Idea what a tilt sensor is .... any idea? 16: Assuming this is somehow realted to the airbag. As I started going through this mess, I noticed that the airbag light it OUT. I would like to think it is burned out but I dont think I will be this lucky 47/60/10: these seem to be the sweet spot of the problem. THoughts on what I shoud try next?
  5. Sorry for having to ask but where is the control box?
  6. Can someone post or send to me. Thx in advance, Mark

  8. thx for the info, mine is on the way monday. did you do the diverter valves as well?
  9. I ordered the durametric software a few days ago.
  10. Is there any way to tell what zone is open?
  11. I am looking for the part number for the Alum / Graphite Grey eBrake Handle for the 996 and the 996 TT. TIA
  12. I have an 02 TT and am hving problems with the remote key. Here is the situation: Key has a good battery, light indicator works when buttons are pushed. However, it is not communicating with the car. I can lock the car manually with the key. When I do so, the doors lock AND I hear a single chirp. The alarm indicator light on the dash is Red which I believe is correct. Any thoughts? Regards, Mark
  13. I was thinking about buying the software and would love to know what you think of it. Also, I am looking at a used TT with lower miles. I thought all of the mileage was stored in the cluster. Can this software actually detect a cluster change? Thx, Mark
  14. Is that the part number for the full DSP or the Harness? Thx, for the help and advise. Mark
  15. I have a 99 996 with the cdr-220 and cd changer. i want to add the DSP control unit and amplifier (I have both) and would like to find out the part number(s) for what I assume is a wiring harness that connnects the control unit to the radio (CDR220) and the DSP Amplifier to the Radio. If anyone has the Porsche material for this that would be appreciated as well. Thx, Mark
  16. OK... Luckily it was a 'amateur hour' problem. Unfortunately the OBD doesn't have this fault code!!! #2 was fine (not sure why I got a misfire read out) but I must not have connected it 'until it clicked' on #4. Thx for the insight. M
  17. OK, I just had my car connected to the OBD-II. The codes are P0304 (misfire on cyl 4) and P0302 (Misfire on Cyl 2). Give that I just changed my plugs in the last 7 days, is it possible that 2 plugs went out of should I look elsewhere for the problem. Also, is there any possible correlation between #2 and #4? Thx!
  18. I left my house this afternoon, stoppped at the mail box, left the car idling for about 5 minutes, then drove about 1/2 mile when my car (1999 996 C4) started sputtering. Immediately, the check engine light started flashing and soon thereafter, stayed on full time. I immediately slowed down and lumbered back home, careful to keep the car at low speed, etc. When I got home, I turned off the car, then restarted it, the check engine light was gone. I drove the car about an hour later .... no problems / back to normal. I did change my plugs recently .... but havent had any issue up to this point. Any thoughts / insight? Thanks!
  19. I am just getting ready to buy it ... brandywine sells it for 1499 w/ electronics. Also, I just read a post (unconfirmed) that they have an add in Excellence w/ a price of 1299.
  20. Vehicle: 1999 C4 I am getting ready to order PSE and want to make sure I order the correct one. My understanding is that there 'was' a difference in PSE for the 3.4L and 3.6L but that only the 3.6L version is available today. if there are two versions available, is it required that I get the one for the 3.4L? I would appreciate the part number(s). Thx, Mark
  21. is that really what it takes or was he just getting intimate with his car? If that's the case, no way!!
