  1. thanks for the reply marc. helpful.

it seems then that the comment that it needs to be connected to the PIWIS is really not that crutial. Thanks brother.

  2. hi serrotab, were you able to succeffully install the paddle shift steering wheel? any particular items to wathc out for ? do we need to bring it to the dealer for installation? does it void any warranty? hope you can share your esxperience... thanks
  3. has anybody here retrofit installed a paddle shift steering wheel? it seems like a plug and play but there are different opinions on wheter a connection to the piwis to reset something is needed or not. i am converting to paddle shifters and i am a diy guy but dont want to mess it up if it need electronic intervention to install...maybe our technically knowledgeable brothers can give their opinion.
  4. any advice on this on what procedure worked? turning clockwise, counterclockwise? broken nozzles?
  5. i am wondering if anybody has really gotten in touch with PORSCHE and asked about DIY oil change affecting warranty claims. it seems that a lot of delaers actually overfill oil when a simple change oil is done. I am sure any knowledgable owner with some DIY experience can do the job better as there are no time constraints to doing the job right. For a simple oil change can Porsche void warranty specially if the service was properly documented. I intend to video the whole process so that PORSCHE cannot deny right service.
  6. for info the low beams become hi beam via moving cover on the bulb. the halogen bulb for supposedly the high beam is actually there to fillin the vacancy left by low beam going to high beam
  7. good day. has anybody succeeded in removing the washer nozzles? Serrotab what eventually worked for you? did you get your painted nozzle tips? pics please. In removing has anybody confirmed loren's suggestion of rotating 1/4 turn??
