  1. The dealer dropped the price to right about a thousand bucks...two year warranty, done tomorrow. Hope nothing major is coming down the pike so I can push this pepper till the end!
  2. Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to hear more before I make a decision.
  3. Just a few months ago I dropped $4k to fix the known plastic coolant pipe failure in my 04 Cayenne...I was a few thousand miles shy of the 60k service but I had the dealership handle it preemptively. I probed multiple times to see what major failures or expensive services were upcoming, but they swore the car was in good health and no other known issues were down the pike... The other night, my drive shaft failed at 62k. I see that it's a known issue and I'm furious that no one at Porsche seems to really care. They want $1400 for the repair. UNREAL! I talked to Vertex and they offered the part for around $500. He said any shop can handle that repair. What do you guys think? What recourse do I have with Porsche? Should I report it to PCNA or is that a waste of time? Should I keep fighting them or have the car towed to my local mechanic? Any local (DC/MD/VA) P-car shop recommendations?
