:soapbox: My 987 boxster s (6wk old!), has had its drivers side condenser damaged by a stone resulting in the air conditioning not working. The replacement is going to cost appx £650 ($1200). I feel that this area of the car is far too exposed to potential stone damage, and there should be some kind of mesh or altered louvre design to help prevent this happening. I believe that the 986 boxster s (which i have also owned), had a different intake/louvre design to help prevent this happening. Has anyone else experienced similar problems? all comments would be greatly appreciated.
