  1. Jim, Thanks for this explanation. I never really understood that before. But I know on my M3 I kept the stock exhaust because I kept hearing it had an optimal amount of backpressure to it. And that aftermarket exhausts very often had too little backpressure which reduced torque at lower RPMs. Not it makes sense.
  2. I've had problems in the past with wear and tear on tires and wheels as you mount/dismount them. This year I'm not running snows on the Porsche, but on our other cars I now have dedicated winter wheels and tires. It's so easy to switch and store them myself and a set of winter tires will last me at least 3-4 seasons before I need to get a new set mounted.
