  1. All done. They just slot straight through as I thought, a lot of heat from my Mapp torch helped them out. After bashing the end of the bolt for so long the end had flattened out so I need to angle grind the bolt so it would go through the hole. Why is nothing simple on these cars? Every 10 minute job I have ever done has ended up being 3/4 hours due to bloody rust. Cheers guys.
  2. Hi all, Im in the process of changing my drop links. The rears went without hitch and the bottom (nearest to ground) of the front had no problems either. The top of the fronts are a little trickier... The nuts at the far end came off fairly easy on both sides but now the studs wont come out of their holes.... I was wondering if this is just rust or maybe the hole is threaded like the rears or something? Looking at it they seem to just go through but after hours of hammering and heat they will not budge at all. Any ideas? Many Thanks.
  3. Hi, I am in need of help. Recently my car has started to develop more and more electrical problems. It started off with the Horn not working. I replaced both horns, new fuses and new relays and it still wont work. When i press the horn you can hear the relay clicking but if you hold it on for more than 2 seconds the fuse will blow. The cigarette lighter has stopped working (no 12v supply and the lighter doesnt get hot) The fog lights dont work All of the fuses are good and all of the relays are new. I can only assume that all of these problems are linked and I am thinking maybe some sort of earthing issue. Any ideas?
