  1. Can somebody please tell me the correct part # for the in-tank fuel pump on a USMY99 C4. Pelican is telling me its 996-620-102-00, but I'm reading it as 996-620-103-00 off PET. I'm assuming their website is incorrect, but I just wanted a second opinion to verify. Thanks, ds
  2. Can somebody suggest a good alignment (and balance) shop in the North Shore area of Mass? My '99 C4 is a little squirrely under certain conditions and the wear pattern on the rears is telling me I need to get it aligned. I'll consider going to the dealer in Danvers if a few people can vouch for them, but so far my experience with their service department has been somewhat less than fantastic. Thanks, ds
  3. Thanks for the help guys. It turns out that it wasn't a broken filler tube, I was getting some oily residue leaking from a loose rubber coupling on the intake distributor. Which leads me to my next question... Is it normal to have so much liquid (I'd say oil but it seemed to have too high a vapor pressure) condensing in the upper intake? Do I have something I really need to look at carefully? Thanks, ds
  4. I seem to have a bit of a coolant leak on my '99 C4. At first I thought it was the coolant tank but I have just discovered that it is a hose and small black plastic fitting behind the polyrib belt. This seems like something I could tackle myself if somebody can help me out with part #'s. I'll try to get a pic up soon, but its just to the right of the generator (facing forward), mounted behind and to the right of the idler pulley that rides on the right hand mount for the generator. The leak seems to be where the hose is connected to the lower side of the fitting so I guess I'd like the # for the fitting and the lower hose. Thanks, ds
  5. Can somebody please provide me with part numbers for 15 and 16 in the diagram, the filler neck and the seal? My car is a MY'99 C4 6spd. Thanks, ds
  6. Thanks for the help folks. I scored a replacement set off ebay for short money after deciding the current set were beyond repair. I was looking at going the Litronics route, basically because i fell in love with HID on my Mini, but having just bought my C4 I convinced myself to wait at least a few months before laying out that much cash for the headlights. Thanks again. ds
  7. I've recently acquired a '99 C4 with a problem in the headlight housings (standard type not Litronics). The lenses in front of the low beam bulbs are shot, it looks like the PO used uprated bulbs and toasted the lenses. Is it possible to tear down the headlight assembly and replace the lenses or does the whole housing need replacing? Thanks for any help. ds
