  1. Hey everyone,

    I just came across a really good question.

    Is there anyway on MY05 Cayenne w/ PCM 2.1 to activate the factory A/V button and install the factory tv tuner like the german models?

    I have found companies that have units to do this for about $560.00 but i would really like the facotry unit activated instead.. Plus I dont feel to safe taking apart a $4,000.00 dollar PCM unit that i would not want to replace.

    Hope you have some ideas

    Thanks Marco

    P.S. Yes you do have to take apart the head unit on the PCM to install the Tuner units for the override feature of the dvd/tv player

  4. Unfortunately we're stuck with the same plastic/carpet.  I have the beige interior and that REALLY shows the dirt.  The Rennline cover solved that problem.  I didn't even drill it into place like they recommended, I just slid it under the plastic side panel and used velcro on the back.

    I also got a matching cover for the parking brake from this guy.

    He also makes a dead pedal cover but I liked the Rennline one better.

    these guys http://www.ultimatepedals.com made on for my V6 with a porsche logo on it Frosted finish and only for 120.00 very cool and holds you in even better.

  5. Are you referring to the whistling sound when the fan is turned up high?  I get this sound when the windows and doors are all closed and the fan is on high.  Check if this happens with the car stopped.  The dealer couldn't figure out why this is happening and how to fix it.  I'm going in again for my 20k service and I'll ask if they figured it out.  It seems to be a common issue in the Cayennes on the lot.

    If this is your problem, try opening the window a little or the sunroof.  that seems to relieve the air pressure and stop the noise.

    HEY GUYS:::

    this happend to my 2005 cayenne i went to the dealer about it they fixed it !

    they had it for 2 days

    they had to reseal the doors but now all i hear is the roar of that german engineered v6
