I would be interested in this too. Are there any inputs on the back of the Navi system?
NO the Cayenne 2004 models did nto have that option only the 2005 models. the 2004 had the CDC button and only active with the CDC

Im afraid its not in the back on the 2005 cayennes
its under the passenger seat in the front by the navigation DVD player..

Unfortunately we're stuck with the same plastic/carpet. I have the beige interior and that REALLY shows the dirt. The Rennline cover solved that problem. I didn't even drill it into place like they recommended, I just slid it under the plastic side panel and used velcro on the back.
I also got a matching cover for the parking brake from this guy.

He also makes a dead pedal cover but I liked the Rennline one better.
these guys http://www.ultimatepedals.com made on for my V6 with a porsche logo on it Frosted finish and only for 120.00 very cool and holds you in even better.

I have a new RHD 2005 Cayenne V6. Is it possible to buy and fit the aluminium instrument ring surrounds from the S/Turbo? If so what is the part number. Many thanks.
I was wondering the same thing i went to my dealer
you cant do it :(

Are you referring to the whistling sound when the fan is turned up high? I get this sound when the windows and doors are all closed and the fan is on high. Check if this happens with the car stopped. The dealer couldn't figure out why this is happening and how to fix it. I'm going in again for my 20k service and I'll ask if they figured it out. It seems to be a common issue in the Cayennes on the lot.
If this is your problem, try opening the window a little or the sunroof. that seems to relieve the air pressure and stop the noise.
HEY GUYS:::
this happend to my 2005 cayenne i went to the dealer about it they fixed it !
they had it for 2 days
they had to reseal the doors but now all i hear is the roar of that german engineered v6

The Owner's Manual describes how to change the front and rear turn signal lamps, pages 318 to 328.
Its rather easy i did it to my cayenne with the new PIAA XTREME WHITE BULBS.
remove all front hex screws on the inside wheel well reach in and turn counter-clockwise and the bulb socket will come right out. Thats it
Factory TV Tuner Installed on US model?
in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)
Posted
Hey everyone,
I just came across a really good question.
Is there anyway on MY05 Cayenne w/ PCM 2.1 to activate the factory A/V button and install the factory tv tuner like the german models?
I have found companies that have units to do this for about $560.00 but i would really like the facotry unit activated instead.. Plus I dont feel to safe taking apart a $4,000.00 dollar PCM unit that i would not want to replace.
Hope you have some ideas
Thanks Marco
P.S. Yes you do have to take apart the head unit on the PCM to install the Tuner units for the override feature of the dvd/tv player
