  1. I'm still troubleshooting the starting issue and finally got some additional fault codes on the Durametric. To test a theory I disconnected the mass air sensor while the car was running so I attribute these three codes to that; P1125, P1123, and P102. Am I sound in my thinking or way off base? P0446 is still present ( I rechecked all lines but don't have access to a compressor to blow the lines) along with a new code, P0444 -Solenoid valve 2 for carbon canister open circuit. Does this mean the valve has failed? Now this code is a new one P112 Intake air temp sensor which is another problem all together and I will address in a new post
  2. Yep, those are the codes and the results I found as well. I've pulled the wheel liner and checked all the hoses and everything looks connected. I don't have access to a compressor at the moment to blow out the lines. In your experience could a valve/line malfunction cause my non start situation? Thanks Chuck
  3. Here is the link to my initial post on Rennlist (http://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/898595-996-cranks-but-doesn-t-start.html#post12815755) which details the path up to now. The problem is the car cranks but doesn’t start. This happens randomly and can occur with the car hot, cold, first starting of the day or after several starts with minutes or hours in between running. The cranking cycle is strong and does not spin slowly. The car also stalls when the gas pedal is depressed while accelerating from a standstill and hunts for idle while at stoplights. I replaced the fuel pump with great anticipation that if would solve my non start problem, but it didn’t. A local Indy suggested this based on the pump behaving similar to a pump losing its prime and the pump had a bad whining sound. Couple of CEL’s finally showed up and I’m hoping they are recognized by someone that has a suggestions or solution. Code P0455 and 446, which could be the canister, vent lines, gas cap, vent valve, or regeneration valve. Gas cap replaced a year ago, vent valve on the filler tube replaced about a year ago as well. All ideas, thoughts?
