I feel so stupid!!!!! This is gonna be my second post in only 1 week. I just replaced the battery yesterday, was so happy to drive my car again. I was parking my car when I hit the wall. What was I thinking...I just don't know. I feel so bad right now. So the rear bumper and the right tail light were hit. I don't know if they can fix the rear bumper or if they will have to replace it. Has anyone replaced his rear bumper? How much should it cost? I don't think i can buy an old one as i live in France where it's very difficult to find used parts. I need to know how much this is gonna cost, I'll get to the garage on Monday... the week-end is gonna be long.

I've been driving the car everyday (250 Km in 6 days). Always the same feeling when I start the engine. The battery is 5 years old i guess, but the garage says it is ok (no draining): they checked the battery yesterday while all the lights and the radio were put on. If there's a problem, I hope it is only the battery. Should I bring it to the Porsche dealer to be sure? -
Hi, here is my problem. When i start the engine, it feels like it is "weak". I mean i feel like it's not gonna start but it always does. I went to a garage to check the battery ( i did not use my car for two weeks ): they say the battery is ok. What could be the problem (starter ? MAF sensor? )? Should i bring it to the Porsche dealer? Should i continue to drive my car?

The thing is sometime you can't go faster than 1500 rpm, can't put the second gear and need to stop ( in a parking for example ). Does it damage your engine?. Is there any solution? I really feel incomfortable with these vibrations... By the way, thanks for the reply!

I bought a 986 2.7L two months ago ( 50 000Km ). I noticed that when I go from first to second gear I get small vibrations ( the moment I push the clutch pedal ) at about 1500 rpm. But when I'm over 2500 rpm there are no vibrations. The vibrations seem to come from the engine. Is this normal? Do you always change gear over 2000 rpm ? Do I need to get it to the dealer for checking? What could be the problem?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody already had his paint scrathes repaired at the dealershop or somewhere else. I heard they have to replace the whole part of the car to match the colour if the scratch is to deep. Is that true ? How much did it cost for the job done ? I have a black boxster and a few little scratches ( but too deep to repair by myself I guess, and anyway I'm a litlle perfectionnist ) on my front and rear bumpers. How much do you think it should cost ?
