Sorry, I had done a search but must have used wrong words in the query. Anyway, I also came to the realization that it is definitely more than the switch alone. I'm sure there has to be a light sensor as well. So the whole conversion would be more than just a switch change. However I would still be curious as to if anyone knows if it has been done or is even possible including a retrofit sensor.

I was wondering if I popped the light control module out and replaced it with the one with auto headlamps if that is all I would need. I've had auto headlight controls for the last twenty years. So I am by habit, forgetting to turn the lights on and also forgetting to turn them off. Also, does anyone know if this pries out in standard procedure like any other dash parts? And with modular wire connection?
