Great, thanks! I ended up going with Dension due to cost and features. Any issues tapping one of the 12v plugs under the passenger footwell? Ignition vs. constant power. Not sure about Denison, but the mObridge requires constant power. I believe the 12v plugs are ignition (i.e. they work only with the key turned on). What features does Denison offer over mObridge? I don't remember any added benefits. I thought they were constant, but could be wrong...I had a car charger plugged in and it was powered while the car was off and key was out. Dension was cheaper and also offered a USB port to run an external HDD or thumb drive.

Hi, I just got a 2006 Cayenne Turbo that came with the factor hitch, but when I was looking for the wiring for the trailer lights, all I could find was a plate with 4 screws. Does the wiring come with the hitch receiver as a standard option or is it an add-on I need to get? If it's the latter, is it a porsche-OEM product? What is the optimal towing setting on the suspension controls? Thanks!

Thanks, is there a a picture/guide of the wiring on the PCM? I don't want to randomly start tapping connectors.

Hi, I just purchased a 2006 Cayenne Turbo. I've been a long time Audi guy, but found a farily good deal on a low mileage Cayenne. I want to be able to hook up an iPod and do handsfree bluetooth. I think I'm going to go with Dension Gateway 500 unless there's overwhelming sentiment to go with Mobridge. A few questions on installation: I'm going to install behind glovebox, where should I get constant power from? I have a CD Changer, is there anything special I need to do? I'm planning on simply bypassing it unless there's an easy way to get them both to work Do I need to get anything recoded to get the phone or ipod function to work? Thanks, very excited to join the forum and read more about my new (to me) car!
