  1. What is the tool, the part number and the cost?
  2. My first 5/2/04 post in this topic, http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...40&pagenumber=3 , has the Becker part number and cost for the CD / telephone interface cable components. Becker sends this with the cable not yet populated into the connector, in case the connector already exists on the vehicle. The wires just push into the housing. The Becker part also includes the wire with contact that is used to drive the mute input, for the telephone. My first 4/10/04 post in this topic, http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...40&pagenumber=2 , has the telephone wiring for the CDR23. My first 5/3/04 post in this topic, http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...40&pagenumber=4 , has the radio model numbers that this Becker kit supports for both telephone and auxiliary input. This kit supports the PCM2, for mute only. This kit supports the CDR23, for mute and telephone input, with the addition of the green connector. This kit includes the required pin wiring information.
  3. The method I have found effective to to bring the damaged wheel / tire to a tire store, have them break the bead, then apply a patch onto the inside surface of the tire. This works when the leak is in the tread area. Damage on the sidewall is not repairable. The advantage is that the tire is examined, in detail, on both sides, to determine if it may be repaired safely.
  4. The source of the leak should be identified and repaired, if possible. A loose valve may be identified and resolved without breaking the bead. But, all other problems require that the tire be removed and inspected, after the leak location is determined. In many cases a patch may be applied as a permanent repair.
  5. Michael, Don't forget to order the cable assembly that goes from this light control module to the 7-pin Polack receptacle.
  6. This post describes the information about the NAV-TV modification that activates the AV pushbutton, to bring video into the rear panel video connector and audio in through an FM modulator. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...&threadid=80567
  7. The connectors should be connected, in the following order: MOST optical connector FIRST; power connector; the speaker connector, folowed by the yellow CAN, green microphone and blue emergency call. Then connect the antenna leads
  8. My 2/13/04 post, in this topic, http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...threadid=114082 , has the required information.
  9. This topic, http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/show...threadid=101337, contains information on celluar telephone mounts.
  10. My tt had the 3M film applied since new, without problems. The headlamps and fog lamps have the film, along with the bumper, fenders, hood, door handle cups, door edges and below the gas door. No problems have been observed. All my prior vehicles had black bras and I will never switch back to that form of protection. This was an excellent choice.
  11. The dealership should replace the desiccant, within the headlamp assembly. It will resolve that problem. What is NVH Boom?
  12. Given that the head lamps are connected through the CAN bus, it would be good to connect to the bus and tell the vehicle that these are now Xenon lamps.
  13. No, a FM modulator is the only option. There are not any auxilliary audio inputs on the Cayenne.
  14. The Owner's Manual describes how to change the front and rear turn signal lamps, pages 318 to 328.
  15. It is much easier to have the snows mounted on rims. Then, when Winter approached, just swap the wheels and you're done. Same in the Spring. Lots of options for purchasing these. Try the dealer. There are four Tequipment part numbers for 18" wheels, Turbo or S, with or without tire pressure monitoring. These run about $2,200, as shown in this E-Bay ad, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2452059638 Another source to check is Wheel Enhancement. My preference was for the 17" Cayenne wheel, but these won't be available in the US until the Spring, too late.
