  1. On this theme, has anyone else experienced very poor performance of this microphone? My new to me GT2 left the previous owner with a functioning mike, only to arrive to me with a mike that doesn't allow people to hear me. Don't know what the dealer could have done to change it? Callers can just hear me if I shout when the car is turned off, but not at all if the car is running. I can't find a way of adjusting the volume. Any ideas please before I replace the mike?
  2. The Car IS a genuine 2001 GT2. It was delivered new with the Bose system, and Bose rear subwoofer box. Many in Australia were. I still havent located the cable and would appreciate a hand finding it. I dont want to tear the carpets again out without firstly having an idea as to where it is. Give me some credit guys, I wouldnt have asked if I didnt know what I was looking for! The car is as stock as a rock. Thanks Simonoz 2001 GT2 1974 Carrera RSR IROC tarmac rally Ex 964RS 993RSCS 1973RS 993TT 996 Carrera 993 Carrera 2S All Im refitting the Bose subwoofer into my 2001 GT2 and the power cable is proving difficult to locate. I have removed the carpet above the ECU plates, removed the ECU plates themselves, can see clearly where the cable should be coming through the indent in the metal plate on the LHS of the car, but cannot locate the cable itself. So, does the cable run front to back through the centre of the car, in which case it should be under the rear carpet. Or does it run down the left hand side of the car through the wing? My car is right hand drive, but that shouldnt affect anything? Thanks Simonoz 2001 GT2 1974 Carrera RS tarmac rally car I dont think there is a Bose subwoofer in an original GT2. The GT2 was designed to save weight and they did not come with rear seats, sunroof, spare tire, etc.. Im almost positive there wasn't even an option for the Bose system. Unless the car is not a real GT2. The gt2 doesn't have the bose system
