    Hello all, I want to replace all my lights in the dashboard to white xenon color and the 3 LCD's to red led's but I cannot find which fitting I need to replace the little lamps (whith the brown socket) does anyone know this?

    Hello just hoping you can advise me on this - when i drive away with my car i always feel and hear vibrations from the gearbox, nothing serious i guess but i feel it through the entire car and i dont like it - can i remove this or is this "part of driving a boxster" ; also the clutch goes pretty heavy i need to have some RPM to drive away else it stalls, is this also normal behavior or can i also tune or modify this? It's a my1997 (early)

    Guys i can buy for very cheap a cluster of a 986 3.2 MY2002, what will happen if i connect this to my car, will this work or do i get errorcodes (i.e. don't do it?) partnumber new cluster is 986 641 237 00...i have a MY1997

    Hi all, i just did the same myself only i am in Holland and count in KM's - I drove to Berlin and back for the weekend ( 1250 KM) and on the autobahn i did a constant 160 km/h which worked out ok max speed was 235 km/h when i did some racing with another porsche boxster (new model) and i lost aaah.. ( but i was heavier as my girlfriend was in the car aswell ) and it seems to me my car is restricted in power for some reason ( i have the US model )... anyway no wear or tear from the car i drives even smoother now! ... **** nothing can be my Porsche **** (Photo is taken at the hotel lobby in Berlin (dont forget to tip the guy on the road! )

    Finally got the wheel installed, it was an easy job, i just got some trouble to hookup the airbag screws, while i was at the shop i also exchanged the pedals for the metal ones...looks great if you ask me !

    Hi guys, I have bought a 3 spoke steering wheel and i am looking for the best step 4 step guide to replace the current wheel with the new one ... i have never done this before and any help and or tips and pictures are very welcome! :thankyou:

    Yeah I bought mine from Zomk Speed on Ebay. It's actually pretty affordable, $156.00 I think. So far no problems, I get a lot of people telling me the lights are extremely bright when I step on the brakes. I bought mine because one of my originals had a big crack in it, and so decided to look at some alternatives. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-04-PORSC...99207QQtcZphoto Did you use any resistors on any of the tail lights? If so, how many ohms and where at? +1

    I saw some brakes with holes in them on a boxster here.. (not S ) so i am wondering where you can buy them :)

    :) If I could buy it for 100 USD including p&p i would buy it direct when it has the " one touch open " function .. and i can use it when the car drives untill 35 mph.. :king:

    I would buy it when the price was around 100 USD, but it is around 2.5 times more expensieve here in Europe !

    It actually does follow the contour, the letters are for the 997 and are a little curved..

    Wonder what you guys think of my new "porsche" decal :) , what i want to do next is do my brake and clutch and gas paddel to change to aluminium, how difficult is this to swap (is there a diy?) and what brand (if any) or dealer is the best for this?

    Yep 15 A is the standard for when you have retro fitted HID's

    Nobody seems to be able to tell me how much Ohm the resister must be, i tried a standard turnsignal (6ohm) one but it was not enough to make it work...if anyone knows.....

    I have the same setup as you, the only thing i would like is to also have my normal tail lights in led aswell any options is this? also i run into this problem that i have the DEPO tails, when i connect the LED 3rd brake light my cruisecontrol stops working .... when i put the red orginal one back cruise works again! .....any idea's or solutions anyone?

    Are you using a 15A fuse? i had the same my 7.5 A fuses where blowing as soon as i turned on the light after i installed my new hids, turned out i needed 15A fuses.. :lightbulb:

    Jep i was able to bend it back with a smal hammer, just waiting for the hardtop fitting stuff to arrive and then start the challenge ( hope it will fit ! ) .. any tips or advise are welcome! :thankyou:
