  1. I have owned my 2004 Boxster since the beginning and it has been one of the most reliable and enjoyable cars I have owned, and I have been driving since 1966. My top began acting up a few weeks ago and I needed to move the emergency brake lever up and down until it worked. But now, when I turn on the car, use the emergency brake and release the roof latch, my windows drop down 3-4 inches, but nothing happens when I press the button on the console. I do not hear any clicking. There is no sound at all. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Any thoughts? I am now unemployed and live in Miami and well into my mid-life crisis, so the top is an issue I need to fix ASAP. lol
  2. I have a 2004 Boxster and I am having a problem filling my tank. I put .4 gals in and then it spits back out. I checked my E6 fuse and it is fine, but I changed it anyway. My car was recently repaired after a hit and run while parked in a lot which damaged my passenger side. The repair required replacing the fender over the wheel and the gas door flap. Is there a gas sensor near the gas cap area which might have been damaged when it was hit? Can I put gas in using a gas can or will that spill out too? I am getting divorced and between jobs so I have very limited funds for the repair. Thanks, Mike
