  1. I have a Carerra 4 year 2000 with a leaking coolant tank. I managed to pick up a second hand coolant tank for £40 + VAT which was taken from a 2002 C4 - it looks to be virtually as new and should be much more reliable if it can be made to fit... However, having removed the old tank it is obvious that the new style tank is a slightly different shape - larger capacity by about 0.5 litre I'd guess, although the fixing points look identical, but fuel filter mount needs to be modified. I wonder a) whether anybody knows if the new style tanks can be successfully fitted with some mods. It looks like the new tank with a bit of persuasion might do the job, but I'd like to see if someone has experience of retro fitting - part code 996 106 157 02 onto a 99/00 996? Must be a better option than blowing £200 on a new 'old' tank to see it split again...!
  2. All well and good, but the disc [rotor] won't come off - it appears to be free, but only one one side. There are two additional holes withtreads - what are they for. Should the rotor come off easily, or are these two threaded holes designed B) to effecively lever the rotor off??
