  1. 103,000 on my 2000 Carrera 4. Had 73,000 when I bought it 10 years ago. Is a daily driver - but since my retirement it only gets out once a week or so. More so in the summer when PNWR - Seattle has more tours. She has been to 3 Parades and will be going the the Palm Springs Parade in June. Hope to see lots of 996'ers there.
  2. 996 Headlight Gasket repair ? I have been searching for a fix for 3 years... and I think I have found a good replacement. See Photos below. This hollow "P" shaped 1/4 inch tubing ( 1/2 inch overall width ) with a tape backing worked great on my 2000 C4. Ordered from McMASTER-CARR https://www.mcmaster.com/ - "High Temp Rubber Seal" - Pt # 1129A992 "Style B". https://www.mcmaster.com/#1129a992/=1e35sf5 A 5-foot section does one headlight with some left over. Two 5-foot rolls cost $19 plus shipping & tax. See the part number details in photo. A few notes on insta
  3. I just put on 7.5 x 17 rim on the front with 225 45s and all is well. The wheel is a ET47 offset which basically just re-centers the 7.5 rim. My C4 sits on PSS9 lowered to GT3 height. So I doubt you would have any issue in the front ... but I would be interested in hearing about the 11 x 17s on the rear.
