  1. please shad some light before i tow it into a dealership . my ex-2000 boxter sis having this problem at this point , u can floor the gas pedal to the floor , but the car would not go pass 2000 rpm , unable to rev up . cel was on , but is off now because someone too the battery off. any idea where to start looking

    thanks

  2. It was my last day on my old job.... and I was leaving to go to my farewell dinner. I jumped into my 98 2.5 and turned the key, and nothing!, zippo!

All the lights work, and there seems to be plenty of juice in the battery, but it's as if the ignition switch is discomnnected. no clicks, no draw on the battery nothing. I took it to a local guy, who thinks it might be the alarm..... more specificly, the key. Is this possible????? If the key is bad, won't the car turn over but not start?

i dont know much about porsche , but if it is the key , try the spare to find out :) , and yes , if the computer dont align signal from the chip in your car key , it will prevent u yto start it , thinking someone is stealing the car

  3. I would like to lower my car about 1", I purchased a set of EIBACH PRO-KIT SPRINGS system. It is very difficult to change it by myself, I came across with some article show how to replace those springs. Can anyone tell me after changing the springs, do I have to do any other follow up work on the car, such as checking the aligment, brake and etc...

If you had done it before, please let me know it is just a simple wrap of the factory spring with the EIBACH PRO-KIT spring, or ther is a lot of other concern too

    Thanks

usually a 4 wheel alignment would be recommand after lowering the car

  4. It all comes down to your relationship with the dealer.  If they don't know you from Adam then you will probably pay, if you use them for service form time to time and just pop in to say hi every now and then chances are you will get many services gratis as appreciation for your patronage.

i dis agree , a good way to start a relationship with a new customer would be help them out for small things like that . I know because i am a service advisor for a BMW dealership
