  1. Try 1361.............. (A wrong code was posted here earlier, now corrected, my apologies)
  2. Don't recognise your model number as 'type 442', so I'm just gonna assume it's a typing error, and you're looking for a 4 digit code. Try 4585 .........
  3. Try 7142 ......... let us know how you get on. Cheers.
  4. Try 8586 .................. Hi Bruce, thanks for your help but the code unfortunately doesn't work. Do you have another? Thanks so much. There's no other code for that serial number. Firstly, I need you to re-check your serial number on the display, if its the same as you've quoted and you've got the radio removal keys, remove the radio and verify the serial number printed on the label attached to metal casing. Report on this status first, and I will be able to assist further.
  5. Try 3182 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Entered the wrong code 3 times (not the one you sent) and now it says Wait... so I can't try your code... know how I can reset the Wait? Hi RapidMark Your radio is time locked, through entering the code incorrectly three times. You need to turn your ignition key to the accessory position (battery light showing in dash), and power the radio ON, and leave undisturbed, without touching any buttons, otherwise the timer just resets from the beginning. Time required to reset is typically one hour. When reset 'CODE' will again display, allowing you to enter another code. Any problems, let me know how you get on.
  6. I'm assuming this is a CDR-210 or radio requiring 4 digit code. TRy 5602 .... let us know how you get on... Cheers.
  7. Very odd to hear that a Traffic Pro is looking for a 4 digit code. All traffic pros I've seen need a 5 digit code, yours would be 23111 I haven't come across your particular Becker model BE4773, but I'm suspecting a possible code entry problem, or maybe some other defect. I've sent you a PM, too see if we can discuss this further.
  8. Hi Robert You'll find 'overthere' - they're still sleeping just now. Try code 3090 let me know how you get on... Cheers.
  9. Try code 6593 ............... let me know how you get on Cheers.
  10. Hi Gary Appreciate you letting me know of your expected need for a code. When the time comes... use code 2675 let me know how you get on.. Cheers.
  11. Try 6579 or 6577 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST i tried 6579 6577 didnt unlock i tried 6681 6575 6573 and it wont work could you run my numbers again thanks joey you are saving us all alot of money, loren !!!!!!! Em..... You haven't tried 6 5 8 0, have you? Give it a try.. and let me know how you get on.. Cheers.. Some additional information: Remember, when you enter wrong code three times, the message "WAIT" should appear. The radio is then time locked for at least 60 minutes. The time lock is removed by leaving the radio powered on, with ignition key on (battery light showing on dash), and left undisturbed - without pressing any buttons during this procedure - otherwise lock timer function is reset from the beginning again. Once reset, the prompt 'CODE' will appear, allowing you to enter another code.
  12. There is two main methods employed in entering codes across the whole range of radio manufacturers. The first method I call this the telephone entry method. Where you just enter the code as you would using a telephone. Say you had code 5461 You would just press the presets 5,4,6 and 1 in that order. On entering the final digit '1' the code would automatically activate. The second method This method is employed by many of the Blaupunkts and Alpines. Say you had code 5461 Here you would first display the code by using presets 1 to 4 So, The first digit '5' would be displayed by hitting preset [1] - 5 times. The second digit '4' would be displayed by hitting preset [2] - 4 times. The third digit '6' would be displayed by hitting preset [3] - 6 times. ............... and so on ........ until 5461 is displayed. However, the code won't activate until you press another button. With most Blaupunkts it is usually the station advance button '>' ------------------------------------------------------------------------ In your case you are going to need to determine which code entry method is applicable... So, if you press preset 1, twice and you see the first digit being incremented you'll know that it is the second method. I think your radio is an Alpine, because the serial number is not recognisable to me as a Blaupunkt - hey, I could be wrong its difficult not physically seeing the radio. On some Alpines I've come across, they don't display a '0' when entering a code. They display only digits 1...9 but not '0'. If you've got '0' in the code - you just ignore that particular preset, and go on to the next preset, that space will be automatically filled with a dash. "-" (Do check first to see if yours displays a '0' by nudging the first preset all the way) Providing your code entry method is the 'second', and you display your code, you're going to need to press another key to activate it. That's the key I don't know. It could be the station advance button or anything. Just try other keys. If the screen goes blank or displays 'WAIT' etc, it will be the wrong code. Hope info helps, if you've not already managed to get the correct entry method..
