  1. I contacted the local dealer here and they said 5mm and it has to be a DEEP socket also, which may be my problem getting the light out. Then they told me I can't just plug in these new lights, but that I need an install kit with a new wiring harness and control box, and other things. I was under the impression that I could just plug them in and the only thing I wouldn't have is the automatic leveling. Is this correct?
  2. OK, the litronics showed up today, but I don't have the tool pouch, just a jack, spare, and jack handle, tow hook. After looking at the place where I am supposed to give it a 180 turn, it looks like a 6mm socket fits right on there. I've turned it 180, then back and forth about 90 or so each way, then completely 360 and more. It doesn't seem loose at all. I'm so confused. :help:
  3. Well I just added a new rear spoiler, but now the dash light is on. Does anyone have a suggestion how to turn it off? I swapped out the whole rear deckild with the new one, still have the wiring harness to the fan and light, but not the motor for the factory spoiler because the new one does not move.
  4. 1.4 MB off the digital camera.. I'm just not enough of a computer wiz to know how to reduce the file size before attaching it.
  5. Pictures... seem to be too big to upload. Any suggestions on how to reduce?
  6. Hello everyone, I just recently registered. I have a black on black 996 C2 Cab with fabspeed exhaust, SSK, H&R, and 19's. I am looking to get the aerokit sideskirts, does anyone have an extra set they want to get rid of?
  7. Hi, I'm new to the forum here, but I have a 996 cab lowered on H&R's with 19 inch rims that do not rub. The rears are 305's. I was told I may have to roll the fenders when I bought them, but was happily suprised that they didn't rub. You should be OK, but need to make sure of the offset...
  8. Rumor has it that 19's are too big for our cars. I don't have any personal knowledge though. If you want some feedback, and possibly a good set of used wheels, there is a guy in Roadfly selling a set of Champion RG5's in 19 that came off of a 996. See http://www.roadfly.com/porsche/classifieds...ew.php?view=263 for more info. I was looking at them but more money than I want to spend. Good looking wheel though ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
