  1. i am new to this forum and apologize if i am asking a question that has been previously answered. i have a 2007 bolster s with pcm 2.1 and standard (non-bose) speakers. the head unit has the newest discs but it is outdated and lacks several important features. i have bought a new pioneer avh 3300bt head unit (blue tooth, iPod, etc) and had it changed out. the installer tells me that he reused as many of the existing components as possible but the sound is poor due to "lack of cross overs/power" the new unit is driving existing door and dash speakers through original wiring and the tweeters sound very raspy. the dealer offers no advice other than "go to a professional" and the professional isn't sure of the next step. recommendations include disconnecting the existing tweeters (lowest cost), adding crossovers and/or new amplifiers. i love my car and somewhere, someone knows the answer. please help
  2. i have a 2007s bolster with cpm 2.1 stereo - nav unit without the bose package. i am looking to replace the unit with a later model (updated maps) double din pioneer or kenwood. i have found the double din adapter and now am looking for a wiring harness that will allow me to plug my existing speakers into the new unit. can anyone help or give advice to the best approach. thanks
