  1. It was my understanding that the relay and socket can be in any position, but that the 4-pin jumper is supposed to be in position 23. There are no jumpers on the backside of the relay in position 24. It's just a white socket with wires on the back that go directly to the wiring harness. Position 23 is one of the black cube that you pull out from the back of the relay housing. It has no plug-ins in the front of it. It has 2 sides to it, one contains two 2-pin jumpers and the other contains one 4-pin jumper. The 4 pin jumper usually controls the 30-45mp speed cut-out for the PSE. On my car, however, it controls the cabriolet top switch. I don't have the car here to check out the wiring that goes into the socket in position 24. If there is a gray/pink wire, would disconnecting this wire have the same effect as doing the jumper removal procedure? Steve
  2. I can't find the sports exhaust jumper on my 03 C4 Cab. I had the PSE installed at the dealership after purchase and it seems the 4-pin jumper is in a different location than normal on my car. I know everyone says it's in position 23, but on my car the 4 pin jumper in this location is for my cabriolet top. When I pull the jumper, the top doesn't work at all. Does anyone know of an easy way of tracking down where the jumper might be located on my car? I don't really want to just start pulling jumpers willy-nilly and taking the car out for a drive to see if the exhaust is loud or quiet. For the time being, I just pulled the relay for the exaust completely. It was in position 24 and was labeled 996 618 980 03 with the name "Abgasklappen Relais." Now I just need a way to find out where the jumper is located. Can anyone who added the PSE after purchase give me an idea of where there jumper was located? Thanks, Steve
