  1. I noticed a minor coolant leak. Well I can see some pink stain on the under carriage of the car. I doubt it is a major leak as no stain can be seen on the ground. Does leak like this cause air bubbles to form? The coolant warning popped up, but is goes away a short while later. Will bleed the air bubble over the weekend via the bleeding valve. Anyway, any comments on using Prestone Super Radiator Stop Leak for this? Thanks.
  2. Goran, I checked the dvd player and it is empty. I'll have to scout for a dvd and see if it helps. Sent the car for a diagnosis and they could not find any fault; but they did mention that the error message shown is not that that they usually see with a missing dvd. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for your reply. Richard, I do have the Bose package. Regarding the fibre optic loop, what can I do to check for the break/bad connection you mentioned? Thanks.
  3. Hi, I just bought myself a used 2008 997.1 Carrera 3.6. When I start the car, the PCM shows 'System error: Unknown, Unknown, Unknown...'. Please see attached image. The radio is playing fine, the cd player is fine. I can basically access the radio, cd player, audio functions etc after I hit 'Confirm'. I've tried the 1-4-8 reset but it does not help. What seem to be the problem? Help appreciated.
  4. Mine is a 2004 3.2 basic model. Kit is an after market. Thanks.
  5. I've recently added the wide body kit to my Cayenne. The kit has added a significant amount of weight to the liftgate and the lift gate does not hold up now. The liftgate was holding up well before the kit. Besides, I've just recently changed both damper struts. Any suggestion to resolve this problem? Is there a stronger strut? Please help.
  6. wvicary, Do you think I should stick to an ori replacement unit? My guy has recommended one by Bosch. Am told that it's a better performer and obviously, cheaper. Thx.
  7. I thought it odd too. But according to my guy, the fault code on the MAF sensor would not go away.
  8. Am on a 2004 Cayenne 3.2L. Right hand drive. When I unlock my car, the driver's door remains locked. Am told that it is a faulty door lock module. May I have this part number please. On a cost saving note, can this module be repaired?
  9. Got the car inspected. Was told that the mass airflow sensor is faulty.
  10. Thanks guys. Will share here once I idnetify the problem.
  11. wvicary, When I mentioned 'no fault code', I meant no warning light. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  12. My 2004 3.2 V6 Cayenne trembles when I start the car. The trembling started a while back when I refuel the car. Upon refueling, I will have to rev the engine or it dies off. After a few revs, the engine stabilizes and I am able to drive on. I lived with that but the problem has now gotten to almost every time I start the car, particularly the first start of the day. That happens even under scorching sun. No fault code appears. What can the problem be? Can I DIY this repair?
