  1. let me know what youve got! any pics would be great. its not easy to find a box for what ive got. thanks! mg
  2. hey everyone, i just got a full dash carbon fiber kit off ebay. while it looks real good im slightly hesitant to get started in a) doing myself although im sure i could, and B) putting on the car at all. it has a 3m adhesive behind it and the directions say to heat with a heat gun before applying. im just afraid its going to either look tacky or get screwed up, and im really not trying to ruin my clean dash. it covers everything from the door speakers to the temp controls to the base of the emergency brake. it looks hot but this is a porsche not a honda, and i do plan on reselling the car one day. please give me honest opinions. thanks again!
  3. its the 996 aero kit. your car looks real hot by the way, i wish i could find another way to get my 12" w7 in there...hehe i miss the bass.
  4. I wanted to possibly move the air condition controls below the cd changer in the empty or cd holder decks. I really would like to put in a new navigation screen in its place. can this be done? help! thanks again!
  5. Ive been waiting a long time for this :) Another thing is that I wanted to know if any of you have subwoofers connected in your carreras? I used to have a box with 3 12" JL audio w6 subs with a 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate amp in my bmw. I also have 1 12" JL w7. i want to install the w7 but its a very deep and wide sub. obviously im not putting them all in, but im trying to find the best way to get that deep bass back. im not sure if i could find a box that would fit behind the back seat. whats the best way to do this? pics would help!
  6. hey everyone, im new to the site, this is my first posting. im very proud to say, ive been waiting my entire life for this moment. tomorrow morning im going to pick up my '99 911 carrera. anyway enough sappy stuff, the point is it has no navigation unit and i wanted to install one. ive seen a few where people used the space under the radio and the compartment under that to fit a nice sized screen in. what do you all think is the best navigation unit for this car? im not looking to go overboard $$ wise, but id like a nice one. i think the flip out might get annoying? any opinions and/or advice would be much appreciated!! thanks! MG
