  1. I have just been through the "slow turning starter when hot problem solving" Here is my story. Found out that one of my straps from the battery was so heavely corroded that I was sure it was the problem. Bought a new one at the fanciest car dealer in Denmark (Porsche, Lambo's, Bentley etc) Had a moment to remember when I had to ask the service manager at dealer to push my stalled car....left with the 50 $ cable and a smile. Unfortunately the cable did not do the trick. Checked the ground connection behind the right rear wheel - like new. Took the starter out, had it checked at a workshop - like new. Checked all wires and connections that I could get my hands on - like new. Then I could not see my clumsy self taking out the alternator, but I managed to get a wrench on the lower connection on the back side, and it seemed just a little bit loose, so I gave it half a turn. Put it all together again, took the car for fast 15 min run - and now it restarts with out any problem. Now I will go to bed praying to the great porsche god that that was it. Thanks for all the good advices in here, which really helped. regards John
  2. Hi, changed battery and need code please. BE 2180 serial V5004061 regards John
  3. I run the Hifi option. As far as I remember you use the Focal speakers Dharn. Any other suggestions besides the Pioneer solution suggested by 1dmurray. John
  4. The stock Nokia speakers are 2 ohm, but I was just wondering if I had missed anything, hence I have not heard of anybody using these speakers. regards
  5. Hi Will these be a direct replacement for the door speakers running the stock amp? http://www.jbl.com/estore/jbl/us/products/GTO528/GTO528_JBL_US regards John
  6. I was wondering if some of you had knowledge of somebody doing a "Fister modification" in Europe? The reason why I am asking is that sending my muffler to the US and back will triple the cost of the modification due to shipping cost, VAT and tax - so much for the global world :-) regards John
  7. Thanks. The coolant i only half a year old, so I will try to keep the coolant. Do you fill the radiator with coolant to avoid air pockets or is that irrelevant? regards John
  8. Hi It seems that I have a small leak at my right side radiator, which causes me to refill coolant once every 5000 km. Recently I just changed my coolant so I wonder if you can change the radiator with out flushing the entire system? regards John
  9. Here is a helpfull link http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/10407-air-conditioning-failure/page__p__50612__hl__+fuses%20+aircon#entry50612 John
  10. I could be many things, but here are some ideas. -Take a look at he aircon compressor in the rear and see if the clutch engages, making the inner part spin. If it does not it could indicate that you are missing gas on the aircon system, because there is a shot of valve. You need 900 grams R-134. -Check the fuse box to see if any of the relevant fuses for the heating system and aircon is blown. You can find the relevant fuses using the search function on this site. Just somewhere to start John
  11. Hi, I need a bit of help. A few months ago I bought a cab from 1998, which have the phone module installed. But the cradle seems to be from 1998 and does not fit my not very fancy Nokia C5. Do you know where I can get a new cradle? regards John
