  1. Thanks. But how did you get to the autoatlantic link you posted above? Did you do a parts search and then page through the catalog? Here's what I mean: I tried to get to the same page you posted above, so I went to the home page of autoatlantic/search/entered part # above. The next page is only a listing of the part and the price. It doesn't take you to the page you posted which also includes the picture. What steps did you take that lead you there?
  2. Logray, how did you get to this page? I tried to back trace your steps and only come up with the parts description and the price but no picture.
  3. maybe Porsche made a typo and cause #4 is really for the coolant level sensor under the tank and not the temp sensor?
  4. Loren, what exactly is the order type? If you put it in PET will it give you all the M numbers or something?
  5. Does anybody know why above procedure works? I know you can also free them with a screwdriver, but what normally frees and locks this mechanism for the lid release levers? Are these lid levers locked by a solenoid underneath the panel?
  6. fedmax, looked over your blog. Great job. Did you sort that clack when lifting the Accelerator with that front drive shaft?
  7. The only one that should feel like a fool is the knucklehead that engineered this. Good show. You gave it to the man. I'm happy for you.Congratulations.
  8. Logray, what do you mean you used the manometer on cyl 1 to check tdc?
  9. JFP, were the original oil coolers, the ones without the vent line, fitted with that bleeder valve assembly on top of the surge tank?
  10. JFP, dumb question. By surge tanks you mean the coolant reservoir, right?
  11. Eric, did you replace the cable just based on the feedback from the shop or did you see something physically wrong with it? What shop did you use? Thanks
  12. Dario, you have the part # for that camshaft bridge?
  13. Does anybody know if this is actually bleeding anything? Doesn't seem like it because it's sealed and sits on top all by its self. Can it be more of a pressure thing? higher psi when cold and then it's relieved when hot for some reason?
  14. Where does it say that in the owners manual? I can't find it. Thanks
  15. Hi Logray, Do you have shots of these pics but for bank 2? (As if you didn’t provide enough pictures :)) Get info, thanks again
  16. Congregations. And thanks for the great post. Can you post all the BEFORE numbers from the DME and the injector report if you have them? Thanks again.
  17. Marc, when you say you replaced the left bank actuator, you're talking about the sprocket assembly bolted to the cam right? How hard was it to swap from bank to bank? How much time did it take? And congratulations!
  18. Hi Loren, by matched set do you mean all the struts, springs, and swaybars, front and rear? What about if you just wanted struts? You couldn't by them through the dealer without buying everything? Thanks
  19. Beanster, Where did you get the picture of the cutaway diff? Do you have a long shot of the weep holes on the diff? I can't get orientated with the close ups. Thanks
  20. Anybody knows if Aisin provides trans for the V6 too? How about model number? Thanks
