    I'll try to get you a pic this afternoon. Yes, this is OEM, and I'll also get you the part number. I still don't know why they only made them for the Boxster S.

    I have an '03 Boxster, and it looked like the only thing that was missing from the car were the door sills, or door-entry guards, etc. I found that the stainless steel guards made by Porsche were pretty expensive, and the carbon fiber even more. I am assuming that you already know that. I however, found a cheaper alternative. Porsche sells door sills for the Boxter S that are much cheaper than the stainless steel and carbon fiber. They are black and made of heavy duty plastic, and they sell for approx. $60.00 each at Sunset. If you don't mind the door guard saying 'Boxster S' this is an alternate. This is the way I went and they look good. If you want I can post a pic. Good luck! :jump:

    Loren, It turns out that rears will not fit a Boxster, only the fronts. The guy realized this yesterday. Thanks for the help.

    This may be a dumb question, Is there a max speed at which the windstop will fail? When I look in the rear view mirror I see it oscillating a little bit at highway speeds. It is very well attached.

    I have somebody that wants to sell me a set of 18" Turbo Twist wheels with the following part number 99636213406. Will they fit on my 2003 Boxster?

    Thanks for the replies. I talked to the dealer and they said that they do not do high speed balancing (only up to 75 mph). However, one of the local large Goodyear tire stores said that they can do high speed balancing. I will be taking it in this afternoon. Thanks again.

    Hi everybody, Thanks for all your responses. I contacted Sunset regarding this matter and I was told that the remote can only be programmed for one vehicle. in other words the remote needs to be purchased new. So the most economical solution that Sunset and I agreed on was to purchase the new remote ($89.71), and a blank key ($13.00). Once I receive them I will take them to my local dealer and have the key cut and the remote programmed. The dealer can do all this for approximately $120.00. Still cheaper than the $350.00 to $430.00 price quotes I was getting. The guys at Sunset were very helpful. I hope this helps as much as it helped me.

    Thanks for the reply. I bought the car from an internet used car dealer in Chicago. He did not have the spare keys. Apparently they were lost at some point. I really was not concerned because I got a great deal on a car that is in MINT condition. But to answer your question, yes, I think the dealer is going to want an arm an a leg for the key. I will call today to get his bottom line price. Thanks

    Hello everybody, I just bought a 2003 Boxster with 9600 miles. The problem is that the car came only with ONE KEY! How can I obtain a spare key without spending all the cash the dealer wants? Any Ideas? :( Thanks

    Hello everybody, I just bought a 2003 Boxster with 9600 miles. Here is the question, at approx. 75 mph I feel a vibration on the steering wheel. I am assuming that it should be pretty smooth. Am I correct? The car is still under warranty but I don't want to take it to the dealer and have them tell me it is a maintenance problem at $120.00 an hour. Any suggestions? or ideas? Thanks
