  1. Remove the rear rotor and disconnect the parking brake cable at the internal brake shoe mechanism. Hi Loren, Do you have any suggestions for the new description I gave?
  2. In the center console just remove the plastic material on the bottom and get to the single screw, once unscrewed and removed, you'll gain access to the hand brake mechanism that holds together the line for the 2 rear park brakes. Its a double lock nut so just loosen and tighten accordingly. If you need more tension or line to work with you will need to remove your rear tires and rotors to gain access to the parking brake pads and on top there is a circular gear that can be turned in order to get the parking brake pads to seat closer or farther away from the rotor. GL
  3. Thanks for the replies guys, but still doesn't target my issue. Let me elaborate- the parking brake cable is linked directly into a small metal 2 pronged fork piece, (it's the end piece of the cable) which is right after the spring and goes through a metal tube in the back of the hub assembly not displayed in the diagram, the fork cable attachment is where the hook mechanism (7,8,9 of the diagram) is attached to via a pin. The problem lies where that fork piece(I don't know what else to call it)is unable to come out through the back of the wheel hub assembly as it is to large to exit, there is a bulge in the tube that seats the fork piece. I was able to remove the 7,8,9,10 its just the cable linkage I am having issues with, I can only see this working where the parking brake cable tube in the back of the hub is able to come off..but I've tried to remove it with no success( the top of the tube ripped off using so much force :( ) If I am not explaining clearly I can take pictures and upload them. My other option is just cutting the cable and finishing the installation and having an indie shop do a parking brake cable installation as I saved alot of money by not having a shop do my wheel bearings and a 4 wheel strut replacement that I'm almost done with. Best Regards!
  4. I am stuck in the middle of my wheel bearing replacement job, I have everything disconnected and the wheel hub assembly is completely disconnected but I can't figure out how to remove the parking brake line assembly thats stuck inside the hub. I've tried everything, the tube in the back that holds the line does not turn so I do not know where to go or what to take off so that the line is detached..please help!!
