  1. Have you tried Sunset Imports in Oregon? Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost Yeah, they are 280$ :(
  2. Anyone know where I can get oxygen sensors for a better price than the Stealership? they're over 300$ each here in Canada.
  3. Will Porsche cover this even if the car is out of warranty?
  4. Im gonna measure how much clearance I have when I get home tonight. The ebay seller told me that his extentions are 1.7inches long. So I need at least 2 inches
  5. I have a GHL exhaust. Do you think these extentions would work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OXYGEN-Spacer-HHO-Wideband-Simulator-Sensor-Test-Pipe-/320620190328#ht_500wt_975
  6. Im getting an intermittent whining sound, I don't hear it all the time. Only if I am idling and give it gas as the rpms drop from about 2800 to 800rpm does the whining sound come. I may be experiencing this same thing when Im driving but my exhaust is so dawm loud I probably cant hear it. my car is an '03 996TT with 25,000 miles. Is it possible that I need to change my steering reservoir? If so, it is covered by Porsche? since its a TSB?
  7. Unfortunately, amongst my many talents, Welding is not one of them. I'll just buy the Extensions (bungs) and install them, but Im wondering if the O2's are easily accessible. Im hoping I won't have to drop the exhaust to replace them.
  8. Hey Guys, I just bought an '03 996TT with 25k on the clock. I have a few questions, hopefully someone can help me out; after driving it only 50miles the CEL came up, I scanned it and I got a P0430 code. I know my car is fitted with an aftermarket exhaust. After doing some research I've found that some people put O2 extensions on the O2 sensor after the cat, in order to avoid the annoying CEL. Also, I have NO IDEA what exhaust I have. The Guy I bought it from states that it is a Eisenmann exhaust, but after doing research, I realized that just the tips are Eisenmman. My question is; -Is this ok to do? -If so, is there a DIY write-up on it somewhere -Where can I get these O2 extensions. Anywhere online (Ebay?) -Lastly, How do I find out what kind of exhaust I have? Thanks Nick
