Sorry if this sounds amateur but how do you remove the trim to get into the handbrake cable adjustment? I need to tighten it up slightly but don't want to damage the trim. It's a 1998 c2. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I'm looking to carry out some mod to my 3.4 996. I wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers as to where to start with performance exhausts/air filters, baffled sumps, cooling, brakes and if possible what their experience have been of the products.
I'm looking to do the odd track day but nothing too serious. I know it's probably not the best 911 to carry out such mods but the car doesn't owe me anything so there no harm in trying to make the most of it.
Thanks in advance.
