  1. I have both a 2005 cayenne S and base model the S has 95 k miles and my base has 30 k miles after a round trip to and from vail co I has a coolant leak under the engine. I took it to the deal and after 3 weeks was told I had a porous engine which needed to be replaced at a cost of $13 k. Has anyone seen this before or know what options I have?
  2. I have a 2001 996, 6 spd cab with only 19K miles. I do not get this car out much mostly drive my 944 daily. I did get it out last weekends and drove it hard and smelled an oil burning type of smell from the engine. The engine is clean and not leaking any oil on the garage floor. Oil levels are good and not smoking or any oil in pipes. What could I be smelling?
